Not to mention quantity != quality.
It's also the only decent exclusive FPS.
Generic and Boring is what every PS3 exclusive shooter is labelled by the 360 community. Do you even know what generic means? Here's the definition: Generic is something that is general, common, or inclusive rather than specific, unique, or selective. I don't think anyone will disagree that 256 players is not common. The command structure is also not common. Having three factions is uncommon (usually it is just good vs. bad which is generic). THX certification isn't common. Uncompresse...
Let's also not forget how messed up Gears 2 online was with only 10 people. Peer 2 peer sucks. Paying for Peer 2 peer when everyone else has dedicated servers really sucks.
One of the people that joined my clan bought the PS3 for MAG. I know because that is the only game in his trophies and so I asked him about it.
You mean 3 out of your 4 friends have an xbox and 1 of your 4 friends has a PS3. Many people have mics and just don't use them. The reason you don't have as much screaming is because there aren't as many 10-16 year olds on the PS3.
It's obvious that you haven't played the game. You don't have everyone in the lobby talking at once. The OIC is the only person that can talk to everyone. Platoon leaders can talk to everyone in their platoon.
Everyone I know that is interesting in Halo has a 360 except 1 dude that plays part 2 on PC.
Level 10 isn't 1/6 the way through the game. The number of points to level up increases as you get higher ranked. I think level 59-60 was more points than getting to level 10. Also 60 isn't the cap, it just lets you start veteran mode at that point. Your levels will increase but there aren't any more ranks beyond level 60.
The fact that MAG was released with fewer glitches/bugs and 10 times the number of players than Gears 2 and MW2 (arguably the biggest multiplayer games of recent years) is commendable.
Fvck Natal. I wont be buying that crap and neither will most people with a computer.
Who exactly left it behind? Because last time I checked UNIX based systems are still the dominant platform for servers. The reason they are used is for stability and security. Are those the BS reasons that you think it has been left behind? And it is windows that is always playing catch up to the mac os.
Mine is being able to play games in Linux (sans wine) so that I don't need Windows at all. But baring that I guess your suggestion would be a close second.
Another thing I like about Open Office (even though I use both) is that it still uses the old format not the office 2007 layout with all the icons wasting space in ass backwards locations.
Lets see what do I expect from Windows ... a Sh!tty browser, copious amount of bugs/exploits, a monopoly on PC games, overpriced and ugly. So if they don't have the monopoly on PC games then I will be able to play them on linux and don't need windows. Never going to happen though just like them fixing all the crap that's wrong with the system. They should go back to square one and create a good OS instead of patching adding to a piece of crap.
I would pick up MAG now if I were you. Heavy Rain is already cheaper than MAG, I can see the price dropping a lot more a couple weeks after release and there will probably be a bunch of used copies available.
Not as lazy as Infinity Ward. You still waiting for the care package glitch fix on your 360?
I have been trying but every time I press reply or start new post it kicks me to the home page. I have logged in and tried with Firefox and IE8. And the funny thing is it only started doing this a couple of days ago. They have no contact info to let them know of the problem.
Hopefully they make it so that S.V.E.R
1) cant disarm bombs from the other side of their doors and
2) Can't run/shoot through walls.
If these two issues were fixed the game would be more balanced.
What no auto aim? 360 shooters are for casual gamers that think they're hard core. You're not hard core in my books unless you play without auto aim with reticule off.
